Custom Actions

Overview

Custom Action is part of Feedly "AI Actions" features suite. Whether you wish to discern trends, extract data, or clarify content, this feature will allow running personalized prompts on the content you read.

How to use Custom Actions

Step 1: Open the article

Select the article you would like to interact with.

Step 2: Click the sparkle icon

Locate and click the "Sparkle" button situated at the top of the article interface. A right panel will appear alongside the article.

Step 3: Type in your prompt and run the action

Type in the specific prompt or question you have about the content and press the "RUN ACTION" button.

Step 4: Receive the result

After a short loading phase, you will receive Custom Action output .

Additional Features

Feedback and iteration

After viewing your result, share your feedback via the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icons. If you desire a different output, adjust your prompt and initiate the action again.

Save and delete Actions

Find a prompt especially useful? Click "SAVE ACTION" to preserve it. Any saved action can be deleted using the "DELETE" option.

Copy to Clipboard

To copy the Custom Action result, tap the "Copy to Clipboard" button, allowing you to paste it as a note within the article or any other location.

• Languages Supported: English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian, and 44 more.
• Privacy: When you use Custom Action, both the prompt and the article content are processed by a sophisticated Language Learning Model. We advise you not to input any private or personal data in the prompt.
