Can I automatically forward my email newsletters from my inbox to the Feedly email?

Yes, you can. The emails will show up in your Feedly.

Set up a forwarding rule in Gmail

  • In Gmail, go to Settings > See All Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP
  • Click on Add a forwarding address

  • Enter this email address back in Gmail and click Next, then Proceed.
  • A confirmation will be sent to this email address. This confirmation will show up in the new source that you create in Feedly.
  • Go back to Feedly to finish up setting up your new source. Give it a name and chose a feed to place it in.

  • Open up the article in this new source and copy the confirmation code

  • Back in Gmail, add this code and click Verify

  • Now go to a newsletter in your Gmail account that you want to forward and select Filter messages like this

  • Click Create filter

  • Click on Forward it to and select the Feedly email address. If you'd like, you can also select Skip the inbox if you don't want to see these emails in Gmail anymore. 

  • Click Create filter
  • Go back to the Forwarding settings in Gmail and click on Forward a copy of incoming mail to, make sure that the Feedly email address is selected, then click save changes.

  • Now all Emails that match this new filter in Gmail will go to Feedly!
