My article is showing the wrong date

You might notice that the date on some articles is slightly off by a few minutes or even sometimes by a few hours. This is because the date that we give the articles is not the date at which they have been published but rather the date at which we added them to our system.

The main date that is important is the date in the RSS feed itself. If the article gets refreshed with a new date/time we show it as new despite the article being years old. It is a common practice to refresh old content to make it look like new.
If you see articles that are out of date by a few days, this could be a bug, please contact us at pro@feedly.com
